The South Dakota Board of Regents approved terminating the Family Financial Management specialization in SDSU's Consumer Affairs BS during its May 2025 meeting. The university reported 15 enrolled students and said they could finish the specialization through spring 2030. A new Consumer Behavior major replaces the two Consumer Affairs specializations.
