Mississippi State University · Meridian, MSMississippi State decided to close its Bachelor of Social Work offering at the Meridian campus after May 2026. Four students were enrolled when the decision was communicated on May 9, 2025. The university said they could finish through Meridian, online, or approved Starkville coursework without added fees. The university-wide BSW is not described as closing.
